My name is Maria Dea Montanini, and I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Order of Psychologists of Veneto (No. 15097). I am currently completing advanced training in Integrated Psychotherapy—an approach that enriches my clinical expertise through ongoing education and supervised practice.
In addition to my clinical work, I am actively involved in the educational sector, collaborating with lower secondary schools in the Padua area. There, I lead individual and group interventions focused on preventing school dropout—a key area where early psychological support can have a profound impact on young lives.
I also continue to expand my clinical experience at the University Hospital of Padua, training in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment alongside professionals from various healthcare fields.
I practice from an Integrated Psychotherapy perspective, a scientifically grounded method that draws from cognitive-behavioral, systemic, and psychodynamic models. Rather than adhering to a single school of thought, I tailor my approach to the specific needs, goals, and experiences of each individual.
Central to my work is the therapeutic relationship—a space built on trust, empathy, and collaboration. I aim to offer a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions with openness and self-compassion.
I believe effective therapy is not only about the tools we use, but how we adapt them to the personal story, identity, and inner world of the person in front of us. Flexibility, presence, and genuine human connection are at the core of my practice.
Curiosity, empathy, and dedication are the values that shape my professional path. I became a psychologist out of a deep interest in the complexity of the human experience and a strong desire to support others in moments of challenge and growth.
Working with adolescents in schools has shown me the transformative power of early psychological support, while my experience in hospital settings has strengthened my clinical sensitivity and reinforced my commitment to evidence-based care.
I continuously seek to grow through study, reflection, and training, so I can offer support that is both informed and deeply human. Outside of my professional life, I find inspiration in literature, mindfulness, and art—interests that enrich the way I understand and connect with others.
I am an English- and Italian-speaking Clinical Psychologist and psychotherapist-in-training, offering both in-person and online therapy sessions to adults, couples, older children and teenagers.
My integrated approach is grounded in scientific evidence and guided by genuine human connection.
Whether you’re navigating a period of change, seeking deeper self-understanding, or facing emotional challenges, I aim to provide a space where you feel truly heard and supported—with care that honors your individuality.
If you’re looking for a safe, respectful space to explore your thoughts and emotions, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
